Once a week. Itβs taken a while, but now Iβve realised this is all it needs and wantsβ£ β£

My hair is super dehydrated and loves to be lavished regularly using natural oils each day. A deep condition forms the basis of my weekly routine and this is where Dizziak plays a key role. I apply the conditioner post-wash, wrapping my hair in a towel to generate some warmth and leaving it to sink in and work its magic. The conditioner is so thick and creamy, penetrating the roots well. I try to leave it in for as long as possible, hours if I can. β£

Last year I decided to cut a load of inches off and sport a bob. Losing all the wispy ends and opting for a shorter style made life so much easier and my hair so much healthierβ£ β£

Getting a chemical treatment in a salon which (I now realise) didnβt know how to treat afro hair. The week that followed, with my hair falling out in clumps, was a low oneβ£ Real fan?
